Description:
Content: Visualize the church and olives.
Background: Church of All Nations built by the Italian architect Antonio Barluzzi between 1919 and 1924. The church, known also as the Basilica of the Agony, in reference to the night that Christ spent there on the eve of his Passion, blends the architectural lines typical of the Christian basilica (the facade) with the salient features of Islamic buildings (sides, and roof with numerous small domes)..
Psalms 52:8 says, "But I am like a green olive tree in the house of God; I trust in the mercies of God forever and ever."
`On that day his feet shall stand on the Mount of Olives which lies before Jerusalem on the east: and the Mount of Olives shall be split in two from east to west by a very wide valley; so that one half of the Mount shall withdraw northward, and the other half southward'' (14:3-4).
