Description:
Content: huge trunk, old and younger trees…
A barren trunk and a fruitful olive tree. This art piece reveals memory of my dear friend in her dying days. My dreary soul revived as I let go the deep sorrow for her death after fervent prayers.
Background: Jordan River, Israel is the place of origin of the olive tree with some of the oldest groves in the world, dating as far back as 1500 to 2000 years. An olive tree represents peace. An olive tree was planted in remembrance of every death of a soldier during the war times.
Psalm 56:13 For You have delivered my soul from death. Have You not kept my feet from falling, That I may walk before God in the light of the living.
