In the Old Testament times, God called Belzalel to help in the building of the tabernacle. In the Last Days, God is once again, rising up artists to be vessels of this generation. Just how should the arts respond to His call and what role should it play?
During a conference in 2003, God have me a vision and a commission, revealing that I should pass it down to transform the cultural arts in society and change the spiritual atmosphere. Art that is full of vitality and revelation should be created and artists of God’s Kingdom should be conceived.
In order for the arts to be transformed, risks need to be taken. Humility, along with perseverance, courage, and seriousness with a faith in God is needed in accepting challenges and criticism.
I have been endeavoring in my vision and calling to build up and nurture a group of people in the arts who belong to God who will walk in this vision together. Although it hasn’t been easy, “I can do all things through Christ Who strengthens me.”
God gave the authority to rule over the earth, and the earth should work in our favour; I continue to proclaim that the arts have a part in the earth. With this belief, it is essential that I have a venue of approximately 3,000 square feet in order to place the paintings of my vision in a gallery so it can serve the purpose of being a platform for Christian artists to meet together, be united, and used of God. Amen!
“I remain confident of this: I will see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living.” (Psalm 27:13 NIV)
